World Class Drug Rehab Center

Inside the magnificent grounds at Passages, you’ll find the most comprehensive and sophisticated treatment program in the world. When founders Chris and Pax Prentiss created this program in 2001, they began with one goal in mind — to create the world’s finest team of treatment professionals. Your team will be comprised of nurses, psychologists, family therapists, trainers, acupuncturists, hypnotherapists, spiritual counselors, and many others, ensuring your complete satisfaction from the day you check in until the day you graduate from our world-class drug rehab center.

We offer a strong focus on one-on-one therapy, and we do not use the 12 Step program. When you check into Passages you will be assigned your own ten-person team of therapists. Many treatment centers claim to offer what we provide, but it’s not true, their program is made up of almost all group meetings with very little one-on-one therapy.

Non-12 Step Addiction Treatment Philosophy

Unlike other rehab centers, we don’t believe that addiction is a disease. Our research shows that people become dependent on drugs and alcohol because of one of these four causes:

2. Events of the past you have not reconciled

For over 75 years, the standard has been to use group meetings for therapy. Passages does not endorse this approach. Instead, we discovered that one-on-one therapy is much more effective. Your team of therapists will customize your treatment to ensure that you’re getting the finest one-on-one care available. Currently, we offer 21 different types of therapy, all of which you will benefit from during your stay at Passages.

Passages Malibu Addiction Rehab Center Location

Passages has two locations in Southern California. Our flagship drug and alcohol treatment center is in Malibu, California on a 10-acre property that features a breathtaking Pacific Ocean view, tranquil setting, and palatial estates that house our residential and treatment facilities. Passages Malibu, which has been treating drug and alcohol addiction since 2001, is just off the Pacific Coast Highway approximately 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
