JOHN CARR, Q.C., TEP
John is the senior partner in the firm. He is a native Prince Edward Islander practicing in Charlottetown for more than 30 years. John is a Kings College and Dalhousie Law School graduate. He continues to maintain close ties to both schools. John’s practice is varied and includes Corporate-Commercial, Estates, Trusts, and Real Estate. He is a certified Trust and Estate Practitioner. John is married to Connie MacKay-Carr. They have two adult children, Sarah and Alex, and two grandchildren, Aela and Kallen. In his free time, John enjoys sailing and can often be found navigating the Eastern Seaboard with his wife in their Beneteau sailboat. He also enjoys walking, reading and travelling.
BARB STEVENSON, Q.C.
Barb is a partner in the firm. She is a Charlottetown native who has been practicing law since 1980. She received her B.B.A in 1976 from the University of Prince Edward Island and her LL.B. in 1979 from the University of New Brunswick. Barb’s areas of practice include corporate commercial, real estate, and wills and estate succession.
J. GORDON MACKAY, Q.C.
Gordon is a partner in the firm. He is a Charlottetown native who has been practicing law since 1980. He received his B.Sc. in 1975 from Dalhousie University, his LL.B. in 1980 from the University of New Brunswick, and an EMBA from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2014. Gordon’s practice is concentrated in areas of Corporate-Commercial, Civil Litigation, Administrative Law, Labour, Employment, and Construction Law. Gordon resides in Charlottetown with his wife Patricia MacKay and their two dogs. They have four adult daughters. In his spare time Gordon enjoys golfing, boating, fishing, and biking.
