We are the largest treatment center in the region, providing rehab services for adults with substance use, co-occurring, and mental health conditions. Program Overview

The ACT Program (Assessment, Course, and Treatment) is a state-required program for individuals convicted of a DUI or similar offense in Montana. The program helps clients meet court requirements while addressing underlying substance use issues.

Important Notes:

  • Rimrock must receive your court referral before enrollment.
  • If you have two or more DUI offenses in the past 10 years, treatment plus monthly monitoring for 1 year is required.
  • Programs offered elsewhere (like duiprocess.com) may not be state-approved.

 

Enrollment & Assessment

  1. Enrollment Session: Details program steps and answers questions.
  2. Assessment Intake:
    • Paperwork via DocuSign or in person
    • Face-to-face interview virtually or in person with a licensed counselor
    • Cost: $292 (self-pay; payment plans accepted)
    • Initial payment: $100 required to begin enrollment
  3. After assessment, counselor provides recommendations which may include:
    • Prime for Life (PFL) DUI education course
    • Treatment (required for 2nd or subsequent DUI offenses)

 

Required Documents

Before enrollment, Rimrock must have:

  • Court Referral / Court Order for ACT
  • Release of Information to referring court
  • Release of Information to Records and Driver Control
  • Signed ACT/Prime for Life Expectations

 

Prime for Life (PFL) DUI Course

  • Format: Virtual / online sessions
  • Duration: Must attend both sessions to complete course
  • Cost: $300 (payment plans available, insurance does not cover)

Treatment Requirements

  • Second or subsequent DUIs: Some level of treatment required
  • Followed by: Monthly monitoring for 1 year
  • Cost: Varies depending on level of care; may be partially covered by insurance
  • Must pay any uncovered costs in full before starting treatment
