About Us

Riverside Community Care’s Court‑Ordered Programs provide essential behavioral health support for adults involved in the justice system, including those referred by courts or probation. These programs help individuals meet legal requirements—such as evaluations and education related to mental health, substance use, or driving under the influence—while promoting long‑term recovery and positive behavioral change. Services include Massachusetts Impaired Driving, Second Offender Aftercare, and court‑mandated evaluations, offered in‑person or via telehealth to ensure accessibility and compliance. Riverside’s compassionate, client‑focused approach helps participants navigate legal obligations and achieve healthier outcomes.

Court-Ordered Programs

Riverside’s court-ordered programs provide comprehensive support to individuals on probation for driving under the influence and other legal involvement where a connection to mental health or substance use evaluation and services is a requirement. These services ensure compliance with legal obligations while promoting long-term recovery and behavioral changes. Riverside offers referrals to outpatient therapy or more intensive care to program participants seeking additional support.

Promoting Long-Term Recovery & Understanding

Riverside’s Massachusetts Impaired Driving program supports individuals on probation for their first offense of driving under the influence. This 16-week course is mandated by the courts to meet a specific probation requirement. Currently, all courses are conducted remotely via telehealth and satisfy probation requirements.

Our Massachusetts Impaired Driving program provides a comprehensive course addressing both the physical and psychological issues of driving under the influence. As individuals progress through the program, many find themselves seeking additional support for mental health or addiction-related issues. Riverside offers referrals for individual outpatient therapy or higher levels of care when applicable.
