About the Instructor
Breaking Down Walls Counseling, LLC (BDW) was established in 2017 by Kenya Foster, Licensed Clinician (TX & PA) and State Certified DWI/DUI Instructor. BDW focuses on assisting individuals facing Mental Health and Substance Abuse challenges. The goal is for individuals to obtain the skills needed to identify the challenge, accept the challenge, and initiate a plan to resolve the challenge. During this process individuals will become conscious, transparent, embracing and no longer viewing life as a bunch of challenges; however, realizing the challenges were lessons and blessings all along. THE INDIVIDUAL HAS BECOME CONSCIOUS (NO MORE WALLS/DISTORTED VIEWS) and ready to truly live and grow, not just exist.
A safe space filled with compassion, consistency and a heavy dose of “WE JUST CARE” is the foundation of BDW. No judgement, pure empathy and a commitment to assisting Adults, Children, Families and Couples propel to greatness in a office or video-conferencing setting.
