Paul D. Michael, Q.C.
Paul received a B.Sc. (Hons.) from Dalhousie University in 1970, a M.Sc. from Dalhousie University in 1973, completed postgraduate work (Limnology) at the University of Florida (1972-1973) and received an LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 1979.
Paul is a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island, the Canadian Bar Association, the Discipline Committee of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island, and the Council of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island. Paul is a former member of the Articling and Admissions Committee, the Statutes and Regulations Committee, the Board of Examiners, the Continuing Legal Education Committee, and a former Bar Admission Course Instructor (1988 to 1995). He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1993. Paul has been a partner of the firm from 1980 to 2015.
Paul practices in the areas of business law, litigation, real estate, wills and estates, labour and employment law.

Kenneth L. Godfrey
Kenneth has been a partner of the firm since 1989. Kenneth received a B.Eng. from the Technical University of Nova Scotia in 1979, a P.Eng. from the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario in 1984, and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 1982.
Kenneth is a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and the Canadian Bar Association. He is a former member of the Council of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and former Chair of the Unauthorized Practice Committee.

Brandon Forbes
Brandon became a partner of the firm in 2012.
Brandon received a BBA from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2004 and an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 2007.
Brandon is a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and the Canadian Bar Association. Brandon practices in the areas of litigation, real estate, business law, criminal, regulatory defence, and immigration.

Paul W. Bender
Paul Bender became a partner of the firm in 2017.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree (with honours) double majoring in Political Science and Law & Society. In addition, he obtained a certificate in Practical Ethics. In 2011, Mr. Bender was awarded a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and began his articles with the firm.
Mr. Bender has volunteered on Amnesty International campaigns and has served as a past chairperson for the Social Activist Law Association (SALSA) in Halifax. He proudly serves as an officer in the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and as a board member of the Community Legal Information Association (CLIA). Mr. Bender is a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island , the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), and the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association (APTLA).
Mr. Bender practices in the area of personal injury litigation and assists individuals with disability benefit claims. He has experience assisting clients who have physical and/or cognitive injuries.
