DUI Evaluations in Illinois
What to Expect
Anyone arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in Illinois must complete an alcohol and drug evaluation before sentencing or reinstating driving privileges. This process involves a one- to two-hour interview covering:
-
Family, education, and work history
-
Emotional and substance use background
-
Clinical assessments (Mortimer-Filkins, ASUDS-RI tests)
Once complete, clients receive a risk classification and recommendations documented in an official Uniform Report for court or Secretary of State submission.
DUI Risk Classifications & Requirements
-
Minimal Risk – 10 hours of DUI Risk Education
-
Moderate Risk – 10 hours of Education + 12 hours of Early Intervention
-
Significant Risk – 10 hours of Education + 20 hours of Treatment + Continuing Care
-
High Risk – 75 hours of Intensive Treatment + Ongoing Continuing Care
Our evaluators provide confidential, evidence-based recommendations that meet Illinois legal standards and help clients move toward reinstatement and recovery.
Flexible Payment & Sliding Fee Options
We believe financial barriers should never prevent access to treatment. That’s why we offer sliding-scale fees and payment plans for qualifying clients facing economic hardship.
Partner Abuse & Substance Use Programs
