Experienced attorneys know that successful verdicts and settlements are not an accident. They are the result of hard work and careful case preparation. At the Law Offices of Easter P. Moses, Attorney Moses understands the value of thorough preparation on every case. Contacting an attorney as soon as possible is critical to the development of a case. In personal injury and criminal defense, it is important that your attorney has immediate access to investigators. The longer you wait to get started, the more evidence disappears or becomes difficult to obtain. We get investigators involved right away, so we can gather evidence and determine liability. This is a key step in car and truck accident cases, as well as in slip-and-falls, medical malpractice and workers’ compensation. We help clients stay on top of their cases as well. In workers’ comp cases, we make sure the worker gets disability slips from doctors for missed work and keeps a log of missed work time. We also make sure that all injured clients are receiving appropriate medical care and getting documentation from physicians that is important to their case. When insurance companies are involved, we educate clients about giving statements and accepting settlements. In bankruptcy cases, we carefully review each client’s finances and learn his or her bankruptcy goals before suggesting a solution. If filing bankruptcy is not the right option, we tell clients upfront. In our criminal defense work, we examine evidence and review police procedure. When clients are facing DUI or reckless driving and speeding charges, we help them protect their driver’s license and fight the criminal case.
