At 1 ACT Driving Schools, our goal has always been simple — to help people move forward with confidence, knowledge, and the skills needed to make safer decisions on the road. Since opening our doors in 2011, we have proudly served the Atlanta community by providing professional, state-approved driver education programs in a welcoming and supportive environment.
We understand that many students come to us during stressful moments, whether they need to complete a DUI/Risk Reduction program, Defensive Driving course, or driver education requirement. That’s why our team works hard to make the process clear, organized, and comfortable from start to finish. Our friendly staff is always ready to answer questions and guide students through each step so they know exactly what to expect.
Our instructors are certified professionals with years of experience in driver education. They focus on creating a classroom atmosphere that is respectful, informative, and easy to follow. We are 1 ACT Driving Schools (formerly known as 1 ACT DUI & Defensive Driving School), founded in 2011 and now have 7 locations around the city of Atlanta. Our philosophy is that service matters most, and we work hard to ensure that philosophy spills over into every aspect of our school.
Court Approved/DDS Certified
Package and Curriculum
NEEDS Assessment Questionnaire—$100
● Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) requires that you complete this questionnaire prior to the start of your class.
● A 20-30 minutes test which can be completed from the comfort of your home.
20-hour DUI/Risk Reduction Class—$260
● Once you’ve completed the assessment, it’s time for the 20-hour duration DUI/ Risk Reduction course.
● The 20-hour course must be taken consecutively. Weekday and Weekend Class schedules available and can be taken remotely via Live ZOOM or In-person.
Total fee for 20-hour DUI Risk Reduction class is $360 ($100 for Assessment Questionnaire + $260 for class and book). Mandated by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).
