The program offered on Access Ohio (via accessdui.com) is a court-approved Driver Intervention Program (DIP) designed for individuals charged with DUI/OVI offenses in Ohio.

Key features of their DUI program:

  • 72-hour Driver Intervention Program (DIP)
    • This is their main program and one of the longest-running in Southwestern Ohio
    • Typically conducted over a weekend (Thursday–Sunday) in a residential setting
  • Educational approach
    • Focuses on understanding the dangers of alcohol and drug use while driving
    • Helps participants reflect on behavior and reduce repeat offenses
  • Court-approved alternative to jail
    • Meets Ohio court requirements and may be used instead of serving jail time
  • Structured environment
    • Participants must attend all sessions, stay on-site, and follow strict rules during the program
  • Diversion programs
    • They also offer educational diversion programs accepted by courts to avoid conviction or permanent record

Types of classes they offer

  • 72-hour residential DUI program (main program)
  • Shorter classes (e.g., 2-day or 8-hour programs) depending on court requirements
  • Additional programs (non-DUI):
    • Risk reduction sessions (some offered virtually)
    • Early intervention programs for youth
