Assessments are conducted using secure HIPAA-compliant video technology provided by state-certified ADSAC assessors Accepted for driver’s license reinstatement, court, probation and other legal purposes in Oklahoma If you have a legal issue originating in another state but currently reside in Oklahoma, our assessments can often help you meet the requirements for that state

ADSAC / DUI / SUBSTANCE ABUSE ASSESSMENT

The ADSAC (Alcohol Drug Substance Abuse Course) assessment, also known as DUI assessment or substance abuse assessment, is a standardized assessment that helps determine the most appropriate level of intervention for each individual’s situation. Completing the assessment is an essential first step towards meeting legal requirements often set by court, attorneys, probation, Department of Public Safety/Service Oklahoma, or Oklahoma Board of Tests (IDAP and BOT IDAP).

Immediately following the assessment, individuals receive a recommendation letter in their portal. This serves as documentation of the assessment and outlines the required interventions. This letter can be downloaded and shared with relevant entities to demonstrate compliance with starting the ADSAC process. The recommendation letter also provides a list of state-certified providers where individuals can complete the necessary interventions.

Interventions can range from a 10-hour DUI/ADSAC Course and Victim’s Impact Panel (VIP) up to Residential Treatment and Aftercare. There is no assessment that simply results in no need for additional recommendations to be completed. If you have had this type of assessment with this result, you did not have an ADSAC assessment and it will not be able to be used to regain your license or satisfy most court requirements.

It is crucial to follow all steps timely to comply with the requirements to ensure a smooth process for driver’s license reinstatement and address any alcohol or drug-related issues appropriately.
