Serving Bay County and Surrounding Areas

The Fourteenth Judicial Circuit DUI Program is licensed to provide DUI services in Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, and Washington Counties. Our programs are state-mandated and fulfill statutory obligations for individuals cited for DUI or Reckless Driving involving alcohol.

We offer Level I and Level II classes in Bay and Jackson Counties, ensuring that participants meet all legal requirements and receive the necessary evaluations.

 

Florida DUI Law Update

Effective July 1, 2001, Florida law requires:

  • Drivers under 21 with a blood or breath alcohol level of 0.05 or higher must attend a DUI program prior to license reinstatement.
  • For individuals under 19, evaluation results are provided to parents or legal guardian

 

Who Is Eligible?

 

Level I DUI Course

  • Audience: First-time DUI offenders, Reckless Driving with alcohol, or controlled substance charges
  • Program: 12 hours of classroom education + private evaluation

  • Audience: Individuals who have previously completed a DUI course or have multiple DUI offenses, or other offenses resulting in DUI program referral
  • Program: 21 hours of classroom education + private evaluation

Alternative Enrollment

You can also register by phone or in-person:

Bring hard copies of the following:

  1. Citation or ticket
  2. DUI Arrest Report/Affidavit
  3. Final Court/Probation papers (if applicable)

Note: If the program makes copies, there is a $1.00 per page fee.

 

What Happens After Registration?

  1. Course Enrollment: The registration clerk enrolls you in the required course level.
  2. Private Evaluation: Scheduled with a certified evaluator; lasts approximately one hour.
  3. Assessment for Treatment:
    • Each participant is assessed for risk indicators related to substance use.
    • If sufficient risk factors are present, a referral to a licensed treatment provider is made.
