A Former Prosecutor Looking Out For You

I am attorney Andrew Herreth — a criminal defense lawyer exclusively serving clients across Texas.

Before opening my firm, I spent years as a Fort Bend County prosecutor, handling hundreds of DWI and misdemeanor cases in the courtroom. That hands-on experience shapes every defense strategy I build today, and I never stop fighting for the best possible outcome.

I know exactly how the state builds its cases against you — because I built them myself. Now I use that insider knowledge exclusively to protect your rights, defend your freedom, and secure the best possible future for you.

You Still Have Options After A DWI Arrest

Throughout Texas, law enforcement agencies devote a significant amount of manpower toward catching drunk drivers. The number of DWI arrests across the state remains high, and police are constantly on alert for signs that a motorist may be impaired. If you are stopped and arrested for DWI, you need to realize that you are in serious trouble.

Being pulled over and arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) is overwhelming. You may feel like the evidence against you is insurmountable, especially if you failed a breathalyzer or blood test. But science is flawed, police make mistakes, and breathalyzers are notoriously inaccurate.

Helping With All Aspects Of DWI Cases

Whether this is your first DWI arrest or you have had a conviction in the past, I will be able to provide you with strong representation at each step of the process. I help with many different issues connected to DWI cases:

Examining Police

Reviewing the actions of law enforcement officers during the initial traffic stop.

Test Review

Reviewing the administration of blood or breath tests that were performed during the process.

DPS Hearings

Representing you in Department of Public Safety hearings regarding your driving privileges.

Case & Trial

Negotiating lesser charges with prosecutors and fiercely protecting your rights at trial.

Critical 15-Day ALR Deadline

You only have 15 days from the date of your arrest to request an Administrative License Revocation (ALR) hearing. If you fail to do so, your driver’s license will be automatically suspended.

I will represent you in license suspension proceedings, which allows me to review the evidence that prosecutors will be using against you. I want to know what is most important to you, so that I can develop a strategy that ensures your goals remain front and center. I will do everything possible to help you protect your driving privileges.
