Livengrin Foundation

Why choose Livengrin? Because experience matters.

Livengrin has been treating drug and alcohol addiction in Pennsylvania since 1966. For nearly six decades, we’ve helped countless individuals and families rebuild their lives.

We use evidence-based practices combined with compassion and a wisdom that has been passed down for 59 years. This level of experience brings a deeper understanding of the complexities of addiction treatment.

New facilities appear and disappear every year because they lack the strong foundation and ethical standards required to provide quality care. Our time in the field isn’t just a number, but a testament to hope, the work we do and many lives saved.

There are many paths to recovery – choose the one backed by experience. If you or a loved one is seeking help, our Bucks County rehab center is here for you. Your recovery starts here.”

Livengrin Foundation offers a wide array of outpatient services where your path to recovery is tailored to your unique journey. Our expert team is committed to guiding you through evidence-based programs designed to foster lasting change.

Driving Under the Influence Education and Treatment Services

For more than 3 decades, Livengrin has been trusted by the judicial system to conduct DUI evaluations, education, and comprehensive treatment programs for individuals following a DUI arrest. Livengrin also provides a state approved Highway Safety Education and Intervention Program along with accredited and licensed treatment services. The tragedy that results from driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs is widespread in our society.  A driver may have made this mistake 2 times, 20 times, or even 200 times before becoming involved with the legal system and a DUI program. Livengrin is here to help.  Experienced certified counselors help the offender through the process of getting back the licensed privilege of driving and avoiding future arrests, injuries, fatalities, incarceration, and expenses.  Practicing zero-tolerance when operating a vehicle is a learned behavior.  A person can change and become a safe, responsible driver.

Key Services

CRN – The Court Reporting Network evaluation is required by the State of Pennsylvania for every DUI offense.  It is a pre-screening instrument that produces a Client Profile Form (CPF).  Based on the data collected during the CRN interview, a clinical assessment (ASAM) may be required. ASAM – The American Society of Addiction Medicine’s assessment involves a comprehensive evaluation process that considers various factors to determine an individual’s appropriate level of care and treatment within the addiction continuum.AHSS – The Alcohol Highway Safety School is a 12 ½ hour education component required by law for every DUI offense, which focuses on responsible choices and breaking through denial.AHSS+ Intervention – This 24-hour course offers further insight into the underlying factors of addiction and how it leads to unhealthy behaviors.DUI Treatment Program – A series of eight 3-hour group counseling sessions designed specifically for a person following a DUI offense, with a focus on acceptance of responsibility, changing behaviors, insight into addiction and continuing care.
Evaluations are available by appointment.  A trained professional will work with you to determine what program will be most beneficial.  While Livengrin is trusted by the judicial system, we are an independent, neutral third party who acts as a liaison between the individual and the justice system.
