Ron Dearman

With nearly 30 years experience as a lawyer, Ron Dearman is a man who definitely knows a thing or two about law. Starting his career in the Government of Manitoba Public Prosecution Branch, it was when Ron made his return to the North that he began in private practice. Taking his first private position with the firm of Ginnell Bauman in Flin Flon,it was in 1993 that Dearman made the move to Thompson to become part of the now named Mayer Dearman Pellizzaro partnership.

Practising in the areas of real estate, corporate and commercial law, wills & estates, Ron’s depth of knowledge and experience in these areas guarantees you are in safe hands whether you’re in the process of buying and selling a home, dealing with the sale or purchase of a business or wanting to get your estate in order.

Away from his legal work, Ron also makes sure to make time to give back the community around him and is currently president of the Thompson Boys and Girls Club, an organization dedicated to helping children. Ron was also the recipient of the 2008 Pro Bono Award from the Manitoba Bar Association for his work in helping enhance access to public interest legal services in Manitoba.

Robert Pellizzaro

Robert Pellizzaro practices in the areas of Civil Litigation, Wills and Estates and Family Law. He has extensive experience with issues of separation and divorce, custody and access, child and spousal support, property division, adoption and guardianship, including advice, negotiation, litigation, and preparation of pleadings and domestic agreements.

Robert’s work covers a wide range of areas from adoptions to child custody cases, separations and divorces and spousal support. Always fully committed to achieving the very best possible result for his clients, Pellizzaro has been involved in a number of important precedent setting cases and appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba.

Away from his legal practice, Robert is also committed to giving back to his community and has served on a number of community building organizations, and has devoted time to the board various governance boards of the Law Society of Manitoba, the Thompson Public Library, he has also acted as Vice Chair of the Thompson Community Foundation (a charitable organization that administers donated funds to fund community improvement projects) and as a board member of the Thompson Crisis Centre (an organization that provides safe shelter to women and children leaving abusive relationships). From 1998 to 2014, Robert served as an elected school trustee and was honoured to be selected by his peers to lead the board as Chair and Vice Chair of the Thompson School Board.

Tyrone L. Krawetz

Tyrone enjoys helping people navigate the complexities of the law. He has a general practice with an emphasis on criminal defence. He earned a Political Science degree from the University of Winnipeg for which he was awarded the Gold Medal, and a Law degree from the University of Manitoba. Tyrone explores the law to find options and generate solutions for his clients.

In Law School Tyrone was active in The University Law Centre which provided free legal defence to those charged with criminal offences. In his final year he was hired to supervise other law students volunteering at the Centre. Tyrone has advocated from both sides of the courtroom. He spent part of his articles with the Manitoba Prosecution Service where he prosecuted criminal offences before returning to Legal Aid Manitoba to further develop his skills in criminal defence.

When not practicing law Tyrone stays active by going to the gym and curling. He also likes to read and travel when time permits.
