North Florida Safety Council is a nonprofit safety-focused organization based in Tallahassee, Florida (USA) that provides safety education and training programs to individuals and businesses throughout the North Florida region.

Mission: To offer safety and training programs designed to improve public safety and reduce accidents and injuries across workplaces, roads, and communities.

Registration Requirements

To pre-register, you must provide:

  • Driver License Number
  • Copy of Arrest Affidavit (from Clerk of Court where arrest occurred)
  • Breath/Blood/Urine Test Results, or Refusal to Test
  • Citation/Ticket (if available)

Important Notes:

  • DUI from another state: Contact that state for class requirements before enrolling
  • Pre-registration only; NFSC will contact you within 2 business days to schedule the in-person registration appointment
  • Enrollment proof can be picked up at the office after completing registration

 

DUI Program Levels

Level I – First Offender

Eligibility:

  • One alcohol or drug-related traffic offense in a lifetime
  • DUI reduced to Reckless Driving
  • Refusal of alcohol/drug test

Components:

  • 12 hours classroom instruction
  • Face-to-face evaluation
  • Driver Risk Inventory (DRI)
  • Lifetime Florida Driving Record

Fee: $379.80

  • $15 Mandated State Assessment Fee
  • $15 Lifetime Driving Record
  • $5 Driver Risk Inventory
  • $7 Online Processing Fee

 

Level II – Multiple Offender

Eligibility:

  • More than one alcohol/drug-related traffic offense in a lifetime
  • Previously attended Level I DUI course
  • Two or more offenses requiring DUI program attendance (including DUI reduced to Reckless Driving or Refusal)

Components:

  • 21 hours classroom instruction
  • Face-to-face evaluation
  • Driver Risk Inventory (DRI)
  • Lifetime Florida Driving Record

Fee: $557.00

  • $15 Mandated State Assessment Fee
  • $15 Lifetime Driving Record
  • $5 Driver Risk Inventory
  • $7 Online Processing Fee

 

Legal & Privacy Notes

  • Providing false information about prior offenses may result in automatic enrollment in Level II and payment of full Level II fees
  • Federal Confidentiality Rules (42 CFR Part 2) protect drug/alcohol records; NFSC cannot disclose information without written consent or exceptions under the law
