OBHAW is the oldest and largest community mental health provider in the area, serving residents of Clark, Garland, Hot Spring, Montgomery, and Pike counties with four physical locations, including Hot Springs, Malvern, Arkadelphia, and Mt. Ida, and telehealth options available statewide. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, OBHAW provides behavioral health services to more than 7,000 individuals annually, with a significant portion of clients facing serious mental illness. Most clients are low- to moderate-income, and OBHAW accepts Medicaid and offers sliding-scale fees to ensure access for those with financial barriers.

Through understanding, accountability, and support, we are dedicated to helping individuals take important steps toward safer, healthier lives.
Our Drug and Alcohol Safety Educational Program (DASEP) and Victim Impact Panel (VIP) classes provide education, accountability, and support for those seeking to move forward after a DWI/DUI or alcohol-related offense.
About the Program:
- OBHAW partners with the Arkansas Department of Human Services to provide DASEP and VIP classes.
- Programs are designed for individuals found guilty of DWI/DUI or Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
- The OBHAW DASEP Team provides screenings and classes for courts in Clark, Hot Spring, Garland, Montgomery, and Pike counties.
- If you were sentenced in a different county, please visit Arkansas’s Official Alcohol Education Directory to locate the appropriate DASEP provider in your area.
DASEP Class Details
- Screening required: A screening must be completed before enrolling in a class.
- Class cost: $150 (non-refundable), payable by money order only.
- Format: All classes are held online via Zoom for your convenience.
Victim Impact Panel (VIP)
- Registration: Complete your registration online at dasepvictimimpactpanel.setmore.com.
- Cost: $40 (non-refundable), payable online by debit or credit card only.
- Process: Both registration and payment must be completed before attending the session.
