About Lead Attorney Ted Mikulski
Thaddeus “Ted” Mikulski Jr. is an advocate for persons who have been harmed or wronged by the acts of others. He represents individuals on claims involving serious personal injury, employee rights, legal malpractice, consumer rights, medical malpractice, civil rights, and workers’ compensation. He also represents small businesses in litigation, and he counsels business owners on legal matters, including employment law issues, litigation avoidance, contract negotiations and insurance coverage disputes. As a former prosecutor, Attorney Mikulski also represents individuals charged with crimes and traffic offenses.
Thaddeus Mikulski is President of the Anchor House Foundation, which raises funds for Anchor House, a charity dedicated to helping runaway and homeless children. He enjoys riding his bicycle and often participates in the Anchor House 500-mile charity bike event, the “Ride for Runaways”.
Qualifications & Experience
Mr. Mikulski graduated from The Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame. As a young prosecuting attorney, he learned the art of trial advocacy in more than 50 jury trials. Since then, he has tried many civil and criminal cases before judges and juries in state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
Since 1990, he has been certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Attorney Trial Certification. The New Jersey Supreme Court appointed him to its District VII Ethics Committee, its District VII Fee Arbitration Committee, its Model Civil Jury Instructions Committee and its Committee on Jury Selection in Criminal and Civil Jury Trials. He served as Chair of both the District VII Ethics and Fee Arbitration Committees. The United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Superior Court of New Jersey have appointed him to their arbitrator panels. Since 1988, he has served as an adjunct professor at the School of Business of The College of New Jersey where he lectures on diverse aspects of business law.
He is a member of the Mercer County Bar Association and served as its President in 1999. He is a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice and NELA-NJ, the New Jersey Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association. He is a NELA-NJ Board Member and serves as Co-Chair of NELA-NJ’s Amicus Committee. He submitted Amicus Briefs on behalf of NELA-NJ before the New Jersey Supreme Court in the cases of Aguas v. State of New Jersey, 220 N. J. 494 (2015), Delvecchio v. Township of Bridgewater, 224 N.J. 559 (2016), Roach v. BM Motoring, LLC, 224 N.J. 528 (2017), Delanoy v. Township of Ocean, 245 N.J. 384 (2021) and Pritchett v. State of New Jersey (2021), which established favorable legal rules for New Jersey employees.
